Extra Adventures
Gibraltar River Float $450 per person
Take your time down the Gibraltar River at your own pace in an alpaca raft (fit for one) or rent a durable NRS Otter inflatable river raft (fits up to 4). This is a faster moving river and is recommended for only experienced rafters. We can work with your schedule for a float pick up at the mouth of Gibraltar River, locally known as ‘Fish camp’, and back to Camp Gibraltar location.
Local Plants & Uses Tour $350 per group (up to 6)
Take an afternoon trip with one of our local guides to learn more about the richness of the lands and the natural plants harvested locally for food and medicinal purposes. Visit with local experts and enjoy a lunch made from the land.
Depending on what time of the season you visit plants identified may include: Wild spinach, wild rubarb, wild rice, tundra tea, blueberries, cranberries, salmonberries, worm wood, stinging nettle.
Trip includes a 7 mile ATV ride to and from Kokhanok and a complementary sample of one of our most finest locally made plant products (salve, natural mosquito repellent, facial cream, shampoo).

$500 per person *June 15-August 15 Price includes transportation to and from Kokhanok, lunch and a tailored experience.
Learn how to catch, smoke and jar 3-day smoke salmon with a local expert. Depending on the time of the season, the hands-on workshop encompasses priceless knowledge of filleting salmon, learning the basics of how to ‘cold’ smoke fish in a traditional style smoke house, and how to pack and jar 3-day smoked fish. Each participant will receive a complementary pint of smoke fish to take home.
ATV Tours
$350 per person 2 hour ride
ATV 2024 Honda Forman Rental. Rentals come with bungees, helmets and a full tank of fuel & private guide.
